Hi all,

I'm happy to announce a new version of the GtkImageViewer widget, version
0.9.0. This is a major rewrite (using gob2 actually) where the image
annotation model has been changed so that the image is provided to the user
of the widget before it is drawn to the screen. The result is flicker free
annotation.

A new tutorial has also been written that shows the flexibility of the new
widget, in not only displaying images, but in providing a general zoomable
framework for any user generated raster or vector data. It can in that sense
be seen as a general purpose canvas which handles zooming and panning, but
where the data displayed is provided by the user.

Please let me know your comments!

Regards,
Dov
