I am working on an embedded linux project and need to display video
directly to the screen. I have the prototype application working under
normal desktop Gtk/Gnome but now I have to port it to a system that is
not going to run X.
Is GtkFB what I need? What is the current status of GtkFB?
What is DirectFB and how does it differ from GtkFB?
I am assuming that I have to access the frame buffer directly, but any
other guidance would be appreciated.
