Just figured I'd follow up by saying that, among many small improvements, in the last week we've implemented functionality in gtkwebd for (1) changing the values of the properties of a widget and (2) provide a PNG render of its GdkWindow over HTTP (which we've included in the HTML returned by the /gtkwebd/widget handler). :-)
