Hello. To obtain GdkScreen which is associated with your GtkWindow, use gtk_window_get_screen(). But keep in mind that screen doesn't always mean physical monitor, since in multi-headed settings, one screen can stretch over multiple monitors.
To obtain monitor size, you'll need to use gdk_screen_get_monitor_geometry() function.
