I am having trouble using glib 2.28.6 in a "B.11.31 U 9000/800
HP-UX" machine.
I compiled glib source without problems, but when I tried to
run the following statement in my code:
GFile *inputFolder = g_file_new_for_path (inputDir);
It core dumped. I opened the core file with gdb and the
backktrace is shown bellow:

I saw the error happened in
g_io_modules_ensure_extension_points_registered, at giomodule.c .
I am trying to analyse why is this happening here, but I would
like some suggestions.
Could it be happening because I haven't installed glib at
default path? I used the -prefix option when running configure.
I am guessing each gio extension points are external libraries
that are loaded from some path... What would be the default path they use to be
installed into?
