Just an idea, as dict.has_key() has been removed from Python 3, so
ensure Python 2.6 or 2.7 (consult GLib's configure.ac for a definitive
list of supported versions) is picked up and it will probably work.
I can't see python as a prerequisite to compile GLib:

I have python 2.5 and python 3.1 on my pc and in my PATH variable and I
set a variable named PYTHON pointing to my python installation:
C:\Programmi\Python25
Still no luck.
