Hrm...  looks good, but this bit is not correct:

That implies that if the model has 8 columns, your set() call must  
have 8 pairs.  This is not true.  You can set each column one at a  
time if you wish.  Also, if you are so pathological as to repeat  
column indices in your pairs, the last one set wins.

     $treestore->set ($iter, 0, 'one', 0, 'two', 0, 'three');  #  
model will contain 'three'
