hi; no, there's no current way to generate POD files from the introspection data.
there's an ongoing effort to generate documentation directly from GObject Introspection; right now, the best result is converting the XML description in another XML format. it should be entirely possible to take the same XML source and turn it into POD files. the only possible issue I can see is the one of the overrides in Gtk3.pm. ciao, Emmanuele.
