Overview of changes in Glib::Object::Introspection 0.029 (unstable) [2015-03-25] ===============================================================
* Hook up the generic Glib::Boxed constructor on load, not in setup() * Add support for marshalling GVariants. * Add support for marshalling GArrays, GPtrArrays and GByteArrays. * Support flat arrays when converting from C to Perl. *NOTE* *NOTE* *NOTE* *NOTE* *NOTE* *NOTE* *NOTE* *NOTE* *NOTE* *NOTE* *NOTE* *NOTE* This is an unstable release of Glib::Object::Introspection, and as such, it won't show up in the "normal" CPAN index. The changes in this version require the most recent unstable release of the Glib Perl module (1.310) to be installed before installing this version of G:O:I. To install both modules via the CPAN module shell: cpan[1]> install XAOC/Glib-1.310.tar.gz cpan[2]> install XAOC/Glib-Object-Introspection-0.029.tar.gz To install both modules via App::cpanminus' "cpanm" command: cpanm XAOC/Glib-1.310.tar.gz XAOC/Glib-Object-Introspection-0.029.tar.gz You can also browse the modules on MetaCPAN or search.cpan.org, but on MetaCPAN, you must use the "Jump to version" dropdown on the left side of the page to select unstable versions of modules (or jump directly to the version you want by typing in the URL in your browser's address bar). Both modules show up as the most current versions on search.cpan.org. Glib::Object::Introspection is available via CPAN, or as a tarball from Sourceforge: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gtk2-perl/Glib-Object-Introspection-0.029.tar.gz (http://bit.ly/1Mcqrx3) Or view the source in the Gtk2-Perl git repo: http://git.gnome.org/browse/perl-Glib-Object-Introspection/tag/?id=rel-0-02-9 (http://bit.ly/1Mcqrx7) Glib::Object::Introspection uses the gobject-introspection and libffi projects to dynamically create Perl bindings for a wide variety of libraries. Examples include gtk+, webkit, libsoup and many more. _______________________________________________ gtk-perl-list mailing list gtk-perl-list@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gtk-perl-list
