Hi to All!! My name is Mauricioand I new on the list.
I work with TAO/OpenGl in Windows for more than a year and also the same time with mono/linux. Right now I want to do some stuff with opengl in mono/linux, for the moment I create the window context with Glut and TAO without problems, but I want to find a way to draw opengl stuff in a Gtk-window on linux and be able to run the same program in Windows with also a Gtk-window. So, I think that I need some "widget" to allow opengl rendering, but I little confused about wich is the right "widget" to to something like that. I read something about a "gtkglarea", but also something about it is no longer maintained if favor of GtkGlExt, and also I don't know the current status of the portability of this stuff to run on both OSs. Any idea??, tips??, links??, black magic :-)?? , or may be some other list to deal with this kind of stuff??? For advance, thank you very much. Mauricio, from Chili. _______________________________________________ Gtk-sharp-list maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/gtk-sharp-list
