Todd, thanks a lot for a tip with SizeAllocate and QueueDraw, it is more correct in this way :) ... but it is not intuitively understandable even after reading the documentation that it is necessary to do it like this.

What you want to do is hook up to the widget that gets misdrawn SizeAllocate and QueueDraw there.
