Hi all,
I have a following problem with GTK#. When I compile my appliaction
against GTK# 2.0.0 (version in MS GAC) it runs perfectly on MS .NET, but
crash with exception in Mono on Windows. When I compile it against
GTK# 1.0.0 then it works under Mono but not in MS Framework. I realize
that I have GTK# 1.0.0 and 2.0.0 in MS GAC and GTK# 1.0.0 and 2.4.0
in Mono GAC.
I'am using Mono 1.1.9.2 and GTK# 1.9.3.1. I feels that it's something
about versions, but I thought that compiling for 1.0.0 should be fine.
Could some one please explain me all the buzz around the new 2.x version
migrating, and how to make application compatible for a long time and
not be depending on specific version.
