I noticed some weird stuff here while I was building an app on Windows with my normal dev tools. When I load an image and save it, the image seems hazy. This happens even without scaling it and also with a quality parameter of 85-100 to the Savev function. After testing a few scenarios, I realized it was just my .NET runtime vs the Mono runtime. (Both on Windows) using GTK 2.12.10 from the latest download section on mono-project.com for 2.8. I ran the same assemblies (build by msbuild/visual studio) against the frameworks).
See attached.
