Hello, This is a default behavior for all GTK# containers. They resize themselves according to dimensions of widgets that have been put inside them. Designer in MD places placeholder widgets inside table so it is easy to drag and drop child widgets but they are missing when the application is running.
If you want to reserve space in the table container, you should add some fake widget (e.g. Gtk.Alignment) and then set desired height or width.
