I've already realised that the official openSuSE RPMs for Mono and MD are terribly out-of-date. The Mono/Factory files are much better, but as we can see, they are not ideal whatsoever. And most application developers don't wanna install everything from scratch as this method is much more tedious and error-prone than using precompiled packages with deps. I'm gonna address this matter in the opensuse-buildservice mailing list.
