Again, thanks for so quick response.
After reading most of the Book and Widget documentation, I realized that none of this were completed-works, thus I decided that, to get a more direct answer, I had to bring the subject to the Gtkmm bunch.
I have written a class that incorporates the two widgets, Gtk::Label and Gtk::Entry, however, I have written it in haste and it needs to be improved. If someone would like to help me it would be most appreciated, but, in order to save bandwidth, I will have to send the code directly to that person.
Now, if there is someone here who has already written such class, please, do share.

After writing the above, I cannot stop creating a parallel between a group of people marching in front of my building chanting, "The people, united, can never be defeated", and us, GTK(+ / mm) programmers, but in our case the chanting would be "Programmers, united, can never be defeated" and we would not be protesting some sort of corruption in the society, but celebrating the triumph of the FSF.
