Thanks for the link.  Is it possible to build Gtkmm from source within Scratchbox?  If so, what versions of Gtkmm and Glibmm should be used?  Are there any caveats?

nokia 770 is not an embedded device.

Here is the link to the debian ARM packages for nokia:

They build straight forward - however, if space is at premium, they
might be a bit large.
