So maybe not entirely harmless. I got a couple errors so far trying

I'm dumb and didn't google hard enough.
Found a note to apt-get install docbook-style-xsl
Although this module doesn't exist, docbook-xsl does.
So,
$ apt-get install docbook-xsl
solved the issue.
And everything is building nicely.
