I'm trying to guild gtkmm-2.10.9 on .NET2005 and keep running into the following compile errors for Glib::GobjectBase:
2>m:\jrb_wdbg\local\src\windows_build\gtkmm-2.10.9\atk\atkmm\action.cc(100) : error C2248: 'Glib::ObjectBase::is_derived_' : cannot access protected member declared in class 'Glib::ObjectBase' 2> m:\jrb_wdbg\local\windows\include\glibmm-2.4\glibmm\objectbase.h(149) : see declaration of 'Glib::ObjectBase::is_derived_' 2> m:\jrb_wdbg\local\windows\include\glibmm-2.4\glibmm\objectbase.h(57) : see declaration of 'Glib::ObjectBase' 2>m:\jrb_wdbg\local\src\windows_build\gtkmm-2.10.9\atk\atkmm\action.cc(145) : error C2248: 'Glib::ObjectBase::is_derived_' : cannot access protected member declared in class 'Glib::ObjectBase' 2> m:\jrb_wdbg\local\windows\include\glibmm-2.4\glibmm\objectbase.h(149) : see declaration of 'Glib::ObjectBase::is_derived_' I'm able to get around this compile error (and others) when I disable GLIBMM_VFUNCS_ENABLED and GLIBMM_EXCEPTIONS_ENABLED in the glibconfig.h.
