We'll have to wait for gtkmm 2.12 to fix this, by deprecating the wrongly-named
function and adding the correct one. In the meantime, you can use gob() with
the C function.

Yes, I notice this too. I've made the correction in GTK+.

gtkmm 2.10 didn't have the refcount bug. I've fixed it in 2.12 too.
