------- Comment #1 from Murray Cumming 2009-01-03 00:24 UTC -------
Thanks. This should be fixed in svn by this commit:
2009-01-03 Murray Cumming <[email protected]>
* gio/src/file.ccg: Added implementation of the
make_directory_with_parents() method overload that takes no parameter.
Bug #566003 (Philip Belemezov).
In the meantime, you can use the version that takes a Cancellable.

Do you mean the GDestroyNotify notify callback given to the
g_source_set_callback() function?

Wider bug that covers this one is 561885 -
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=561885
Notes:
- wondering why GSource (in C lib) isn't derived from GObject?
- wondering how you're going to reimplement C++ GSource constructor and
destructor so that you wrap with the same C++ object the same C GSource object.
If that can't be done [easily], then, since Glib::RefPtr comparison won't
work anymore, make the Glib::RefPtr compare the pCppObject_->gobj() values?
Will mark it as OBSOLETE - feel free to put it in another state (Duplicate?)

Yes.
Other comments:
- why the C GSource isn't derived also from GObject? (I'm not waiting an answer
to this though :-/ )
- since it looks like GSource doesn't have a QData data member, I'm wondering
how/if you can wrap the same C GSource with the same C++ GSource object
instance... (there's no such code around the wrapping C++ GSource constructor
to do similar things as in Glib::ObjectBase)
If you can't do that, that you won't be able to use Glib::RefPtr<GSource>
comparisons - unless you change Glib::RefPtr to compare the actual C GObject
(pCppObject_->gobj()) instead of the C++ instances.
