Sorry guys, this is not GTS, but GPS. I know some of you know the answer to
this. I want to make some contour maps by getting xyz coordinates from
stakes I would put on a piece of property. I know that absolute accuracy of
civilian handheld GPS's is very low for this use. How about
relative/differential accuracy? What is a typical resolution? Could I get
6"/150mm vertical resolution between the stakes? I know you guys talk
about using the GPS for running speed measurements that are quite accurate,
this seems to me to be about the same? Yes/No? (I'm talking about taking
300 or so readings over an area of 500'x500', it's heavily brush covered
and steep)

Thanks
Robert Wilson
