your pithy ruminations on <pillion viewpoint> were:
=>

=> OK, my SO has always said the back of the GTS is not a bad ride. Anyone
=> else doing much two-up riding out there?

I do about 1/2 my riding 2-up, and almost all the long trips 2up. With the
Corbin seat, my wife has no complaints. We've done 600 mile days (OK, she
definitely had some complaints then...but she also thought it was about a 450+
mile day), and 5 weeks of 1K/week riding with no trouble.

The stock seat was not an option.

My wife finds the GTS a bit more comfortable than the previous bike--a BMW
R1100RS (with Corbin seat).

Neither seat has a backrest.

=> P.S. The Corbin with the backrest in position was on the bike. The
=> backrest was a major positive.
