Well I don't know what the difference might be, but I have found the GTS pillion to
kinda suck. My girlfriend will not ride with me unless we take the touring rig
(Suzuki Cavalcade). When I went out to pick up my GTS, I rode out on the back of my
friend's GTS and didn't particularly like it - mainly the wind noise was unbearable.
It was even louder than the rider's position, if that's possible. The seat was OK,
but without a backrest I thought I was gonna die when he punched it to catch a hole in
freeway traffic - almost fell off the back! It might be related to height - my SO and
I are both about 5'10". I think if I added a backrest I could coerce her into riding
on the GTS more often, but you can't beat the relaxed ride of the road-couch Suzuki
(not to mention the stereo).
