If you keep looking around and are willing to travel, you should be able to
find one for under $6500. The guy who got his for $5k was lucky, but if you
wait long enough you might find a cheap one.

If you're asking if it will slide, I'd say yes with the original tires, but
no with any decent set of sport touring tires. I use Perelli Dragon GTS. No
slipping on the front down to -grind the pegs off- lean levels.

Mine still works. If you've been reading lately you've seen the guys with
electrical problems although this seems to be pretty unusual. I expect the
motor to last for 200,000 miles.

Yes. It was on sale as a new model in Europe until last year.

That's what happens when you hang out with Honda guys.

Not yet.

This is no wussy subframe like the Hayabusa. The load rating for rider,
passenger, and cargo is 485 lbs (220 kg). I have no info on the Givi rack
itself.

> Also, those of you around 5'9", how do you like the riding position on GTS?
I'm 5'10" and think it's fairly comfortable depending on how fast I'm going
and which screen is being used. With the low screen on - no problems. With
the high screen on especially at lower speeds, < 40 mph, I start to feel the
weight on my hands after 2-3 hours.

> Did anyone on this list have accumulated around 100,000 miles or more on
GTS?
I think the high mileage guy is coming up on 200,000.
