Respectfully, I'd choose a used GTS in excellent condition over
a new
Triumph Sprint ST for the same money any day! I used to own a
T595 and don't
want anything to do with Triumph AGAIN!! There have simply been
too many
problems with that 955 engine, oil leaks, rough shifting, etc. I
do
understand that the Sprint ST has worked most of those problems
out, but I
simply like the GTS better. Oh well, that's what makes the world
go round.

If reliability would not have been an issue I would've looked for a used Triumph 
ST/Ducati ST2.
(Even though they seem to have a frontend from the stone ages :-))))
However I put a lot of mileage on my VFR and expect to do the same with it's, er, 
garage companion.

I just hope GTS does not leak oil at 36k miles like my 84 ZX900 did.
(My 86 VFR does not at 48k. Honda reliability I guess :-).

Chris, I gotta stew over having to shell out around $8k for a little while.
