I have an indash $275 worth of a CD/MP3 player in my cage and it does skip
on both audio CDs and MP3 CDs when cage hits a bump. So choose your players carefully.
You would _think_ that an MP3 player has to do the uncompressing and thus
it has to read the data into memory. But nothing says that it has to recover
from the failure to read a chunk of data due to a bump. Anyhow, the result is the
player that skips.
So DO consider that data buffer length when shopping.
If the buffer length is not stated just skip that model.
Btw there was a post on a vfr list from a UK lister who has installed
a cage indash player into the GIVI topcase. Search the vfr list archive
