I figure the best info is the official road tests done by the magazines
when the press was still interested in our bikes. :)
Road tests from circa '93 gave top ends of 145-148 pretty consistently,
and most took a MAJOR hit for the addition of the Krausers, 10-15 mph
(values of 133-135). That is likely the best you can really do.
Most speedos on vehicles, and especially on motorcycles, are hopelessly
optimistic. An indicated 155-160 on a GTS would not surprise me. But a
real figure over 150 would.
