The Hawkeoiler is nice, but I just know I'd forget to
push the button. the Scottoiler is cool, but I
occasionally (eg. when doing service) leave it running
at idle for a while. How big is thepuddle it makes?
How long does it take for a puddle to build up (i
know, depends on the drip rate).

is there any problem with oil getting on the tires
(oil + rubber = bad)? Is there a general consensus
on the best vacuum line to tap? Any problems
resulting from this tap? Any danger to other bikers
from oil spray or spots on the road? Does it attract
more gravel/grit (I live on a gravel road).

I don't do a lot of iron-butt distances, so Maxima
chain waxing every night is not a problem.

TIA
ADam
