Well, the "electrical problem" was me trying to start the bike
with the sidestand down, bike in gear (clutch in) :-[
Once I got the sidestand up it started of course.
Well, having removed most of the top and side plastic I've at
least made sure that no part of cabling rests on sharp studs.
The main harness did not. The ignition coil wiring on the right side did.
So I rerouted it. Just trying to find some justification for taking
all the plastic off... (And buying an economy size set of plastic ties a while ago ;-)
Note to myself: there are TWO kill switches on GTS.
(the sidestand position on my VFR does not make any difference:
even if there was a switch it was disconnected long time ago.
Did anyone disconnect the sidestand switch on GTS?)
