Adam, I bought the Corbin several years ago, and bought the backrest. I
highly recommend it! I've been critical of the Corbin seat in the past,
but this is a truly wonderful feature, if you ever ride two-up.
Passengers REALLY like this, especially under acceleration. It makes life
on the back wonderful. Can't say enough good about it.
The seat needs to have been made for the backrest when new. If you have
the place to install it great, if not, call Corbin and see what it's gonna
take to get it retro-fit. I bought mine that way, because I figured I'd
EVENTUALLY want it and I wanted to also match up the leather as to color,
etc. Look under the seat....where the shaft goes in, there should be a
small hole facing back for the bolt that holds the seatback in place. If
so your only problem in ordering one from Corbin will be getting a precise
color match.

Oh geeeez......this is like shootin' fish in a barrel.....waaaaayyyyy too
easy, I've more self-respect than to take a jab at this one. :)
