Well, we tried to get K & N to make one, and we tried to get Amsoil to make
one, and neither project worked out. KN refused, and Amsoil was not cost
effective (like $100 each). I went back and forth with Amsoil for about 6
months before I threw in the towel, as they estimated it would cost about
$30 to start. At $30, a lot of people wanted it, at $100 only 2 people
wanted it.
Somebody took an old stock filter and glued Uni filter material to it, but I
am not sure how that worked out.

I have been looking for a replacement K&N filter for the GTS. K&N
engineering has none listed. Yesterday I compared a paper filter of a Yam SR
500 & it looks good for the GTS. Has any one tried to fit the K&N version of
this filter on a GTS? Peter Piazza
