Yep, the fuel filter is old news. A good replacement is Purolator F44661
which is the same diameter and about 1 inch longer. Fits nicely into the
existing holder for about $18. Thanks to Bob Taylor for this info back on
8/11/1997!!

It's me again. I just got off the phone with my Yamaha dealer. They want
$140+ Can. for the OEM fuel filter. This is highway robbery, if there ever
was such a thing. Does anyone have an effective & more economical solution?
