The "r" is still there. This comes from an evident error in quoting me I suspect. Second, as mentioned in another post, I did have a Clearview. I found too much turbulence and noise without the desired extra protection. And the ST1100 is actually cheaper since I already have one. Actually, the Rifle shield on my ST gives me the best protection I've ever experienced. It's the only bike I've ever been on where I can completely look over the shield and still ride in air so still I could smoke a cigar. My passenger also gets good protection. I suspect some of that is the combined aerodynamics of the bike with the shield. Aerodynamics is a far more complex feat than most suspect; ask anyone who has spent time doing wind tunnel testing. (I haven't done the testing, but I have done the asking.)
