I asked Paul at Givi USA about this a year or two ago. If you got one from
Europe it was because they happened to have one in stock at a local store.
Givi has not manufactured these for some time. Paul said he would have a
batch made but would need a healthy preorder (50 or so I think) by all the
GTS folks. At the time only a couple of people wanted them and therefore,
it's not in Givi's interest to make a production run for just a couple of
them. Now if there is alot of interest in this I'll be glad to contact Paul
since he's local for me and I've known him since Givi USA started here in
Charlotte NC. Sorry you felt they were no help, actually I've found them
very responsive and great to work with. As for the discontinued screen, it's
like other stuff for this bike, as other's posted it's even hard to get
actual Yamaha parts at times, much less aftermarket parts. Jay, you might
want to ask Mike Coan to look out for you one in Europe when he goes over
there this year, if none of the European listers can help.

Like I said, had a friend living over in Switzerland get it from her local
Yamaha dealer... Givi USA was of absolutely no help whatsoever. I'm sure
some of our Euro-listers may be able to look into it... w/ my luck, I might
even need a spare to keep on hand...
