 Check the sticker by the oil filter. You may need a
 clean rag soaked with WD40 to rub away grime.
 I guess you don,t do your own oil changes?
   By the response I,ve seen ,it looks like YAMAHHA
 pumped out about 200 units/month. This could be a
 factor in determining total production.
