Almost. I competed against him at the '97 mid-Atlantic rodeo. He was 1st and I was either 6th or 8th out of about 120. There are other top riders who ride as well as he does up until they get to the slow ride. He clobbers everyone on the slow ride. The NYPD guys say that he used to practice by parking next to a pole. He would hold the pole to get his balance, then would let go to see how long he could balance the bike. He would repeat this for a half hour a day. Apparently it worked. Fred
