Speaking of helmets, Competition Accessories has a closeout deal on AGV Q3R
helmets for $180, solid colors or replica graphics. Colors and sizes are
limited. These were the ducks nuts of AGV helmets a few years ago and sold
for $450 plus. Very similar, if not the same as the latest AGV, but without
the top air scoop. I got a Troy Corser rep...for when I'm feeling homesick.
It's a very sweet helmet and at that price I figured worth getting a spare.

I have just returned from the International Motorcycle Safety Conference.
Just wanted you all to know that the BMW System-type helmets manufactured by
Shuberth (sp?) but sold under the BMW brand some years ago are now being
imported into the good ole US of A. I forget which importer, MotoPort I
think. They are DOT certified. I got a very neat metallic blue one--close
in color to the 94. Should be delivered in about 10 days. Retail price in
the states: $400.
