Let's see, I paid 10,000 for mine in '94, and have paid insurance for
seven years at $278.50 annually, and maintenance, and of course
modifications like the $600 Corbin seat (something like that as I recall),
and it's now worth $7,000.

Nope.  Not an investment.  But a nice way to SPEND MONEY none-the-less!!
