I believe the noise I was hearing was coming from the drive shaft bearing,
not the sprocket/chain. I think it was due to running the chain a bit too
tight. I had adjusted the chain to spec while the bike was on the
centerstand. Over the weekend I checked it while someone was sitting on the
bike, it was too tight. After loosening the chain a bit the noise is still
there if I listen hard enough, but alot less noticeable. Hope I didn't do
any permanent damage.
