Well, today's motorcycledaily has reports of the new things for 2002.
There's a new ST1100, and a new VFR800--hmmmm, will this latter one have
hard bags? I for one hope so. And a new ZX-12 based sport-tourer from
Kawasaki, with factory hard bags.

But no mention of the FJR under Yamaha's offerings.

So, Yamaha is first to develop a great sport tourer, and then sits on
their hands for a year or two to let everyone else get into the act first.
Makes no sense to me. And frankly, Yamaha will be proven "correct" since
when they DO bring in the FJR (and some day I'd bet they will) it won't
sell for diddly, since we'll all be riding Hondas and Kawasakis.

Dang.
