This past weekend, I taught an experienced rider course for the local
chapter of the GWRRA. Needless to say, my GTS "demo bike" was the
lightest thing on the range. :)
One of the folks has been in touch with someone looking for "that guy on
campus with the weird Yamaha" and had the impression that this person has
a bike to match. A town of 70,000 population with two GTSs???? Could be,
I started to chase down this newly-arrived Las Crucen, and time will tell.
On another note, folks on this list have been impressed with the new Wing,
and a few of us have even bought the things. While it's still too much
the behemoth for me, it's a truly impressive bike. And, it sounds sweeter
(and louder) than the previous Wings did. I know, I got to hear them go
by again and again and again and again and.....sigh, these courses have a
certain dull aspect to them.
I'll sign up the newly arrived GTS if I can find him and that's what it
really is.
