Just got fired up again, about Yamaha's position on
the FJR1300. In this months May issue of CYCLE WORLD
Yamaha's spokesman is quoted," We've had tremendous
response to the FJR1300." "We'd love to bring the
bike here ,but it has to have legs -it needs to stay
in the lineup year after year. If it doesn't, it will
disappoint our customers. Also ,the sport-touring
catagory is very price sensitive. The price has to
be right." Sounds like to me the're putting the
blame of the GTS's failure on the US motorcycle
consumers and not Yamaha's management. Yamaha
commited a multitude of errors with the GTS.
Why should we be the scapegoat for Yamaha's mis
management?
