You've probably developed a smoother riding style where you avoid brutal on/off the 
throttle.  Guzzis have "character", which basically means you have to learn to deal 
with their quirks (a process you may enjoy).  I must say that I would still love to 
try a Daytona (with EFI and the parellelogram rear suspension) some day, though the 
gearchange would still irk me.

On the other thread that has been running recently, I have to say that the GTS 
gearchange is not always the easiest one to shift nicely.  I don't think it has much 
to do with the oil, more with throttle control and making myself use the clutch less 
than I'm used to (if at all).  At least since I stepped up the gearing (45 teeth on 
the back), I'm not looking for the non-existent 6th gear any more!
