Oh, Microsoft intended Outlook (or as it is known in some circles,
Lookout!) to be a mail client, but in the fine tradition of things
Microsoft, accepted standards of e-mail transport and display were too
pedestrian, so the 'spruced' it up a bit. And broke all sorts of things
and introduced e-mail virii to the world.

Not bad, really. :-)
