Hi, Any disparaging remarks about Snow-boarders are based exclusively on bitter personal experience. Quote from a snow-boarder "How do you stop on a snow-board? Crash into a skier, man!" I noted a good come back on this in Austria this season. Snow boarders were taking down novice skiers by the dozen, when suddenly a group of skiers clad in army gear appeared en mass from the ski lift, and began descending the runs, with all snow boarders in hot pursuit. Suddenly the snow boarders realise that they are closing in on a heavily armed alpine combat unit, brandishing submachine guns (Probably fake, but who's gona ask at 40mph), instead of ski-poles. These army guys had come up for some pursuit training and had obviously seen one too many James Bond movies by the way they were bearing down on the "enemy" (their ski instructor). I have never seen so many boarders wipe themselves out voluntarily all at the same. :^) Regards, David 99 GTS1000
