Each to their own!  I have been to the IOM, from Australia and UK, many
times.  I think I've been there 10 times, the first time in 1957, and the
last time in 2000.  I think it is wonderful to have something that is not
totally regulated and safe, where people can make their own choice whether
to race.  Also whether one wants to spectate....or ride or drive on "Mad
Sunday", when bikes pass you on the made one way Mountain stretch at 100 mph
faster than I was going (60 mph!!).  I LOVE it.  The bikes, the bikers, the
atmosphere, the noise, etc, etc.  Best if the weather is fine though!
