I thought about flex agent, just wasn't sure if the paint would stick
because they are pretty bendable. I like the idea of having them the exact
same color as the bike.  How long have yours been painted for and how are
they holding up?

<Mine are painted. Use a kitchen cleanser to prep the surface, then paint
using additional flex agent.>
