Pad wear will not affect pedal height. That is the reason there is a reservoir with brake fluid in it. It moves fluid from the reserve into the lines to account for the additional volume of the hydraulic system created by the wear of the brake pads. There is a pedal height adjuster on the rear brake pedal. It is a threaded rod that connects the brake pedal to the master cylinder. If you do not like where you pedal rests, you can change the height by turning this adjuster. RSRBOB
