It's better to have the dirty oil at the bottom of the engine , instead of
pumping it around the top end first .
I can see what your getting at , i think , did you mean " to warm the oil
before draining " .
Warming the oil does speed up the flow out of the engine , but
that's about it , i used to drain mine after a run , but it's a bit too hot
, you soon learn to wait until it's cooled down.
